Remand of 6 people including doctors and teachers is granted
A huge syndicate that regularly leaks questions in the admission tests of the medical colleges of the country. A case was filed in Mirpur Model Police Station on July 20, 2020 in this incident. CID arrested them as their name came up in the investigation of this case.
The court has remanded
six people for different periods in the case filed on the complaint of leaking
question papers in the medical college admission test. Four of them are doctors
and two are teachers. Apart from this, remand of four accused has been rejected
and sent to jail.
Dhaka Metropolitan
Magistrate Moinul Islam gave this order after hearing a remand application on
Sunday (September 17).
The defendants in the
case filed on the question leak complaint were brought to the court and each
was remanded for 10 days. The court ordered six to be remanded and four to be
sent to jail. In this case, a total of 17 people have given a confessional
statement in the court.

Officer of Mirpur Model Police Station and Deputy Inspector Alamgir Hossain
confirmed the matter to the media in the court.
The accused for whom
remand has been granted are the head of three doctors coaching center. Md.
Yunuch Uzzaman Khan Tarim (40), Dr. Animesh Kumar Kundu (33), Dr. KM Bashirul
Haque (48), Dr. Zakaria Ashraf (26), Maqsuda Akhtar Mala (52), a teacher of
Motijheel Ideal School and College in the capital, and Zakia Fariva Ivana (35).
The
four defendants who have been ordered to be sent to prison after rejecting
remand are Dr. Mustahin Hasan Lamia (25), Dr. Nazia Mehzabin Tisha (24), Maitri
Saha (27) and Dr. Sabrina Nusrat Reza Toosi (25).
